Phase Review Chairperson

Many businesses are seeking to continually improve their performance through improved processes and people.  Lifecycle Management (LCM) is a disciplined and structured approach to managing projects which has been implemented to aid that particular process. LCM is implemented via a process of Phase Review: a business review of the project at key points in its lifecycle.  Among the fundamental benefits of this process is the review of projects by independent Chairperson.  These Chairpersons must be capable of adding the benefit of their expertise and experience to projects with which they would not otherwise be  involved.  Their role is to establish the health of projects and make corresponding recommendations on their viability to the management of the business.

Programme Objectives

This course will provide Chairpersons with an understanding of the process and some guidelines which should assist them in making the process work effectively and so help projects achieve their objectives.

This course is designed for delegates who are or are expected to be, Phase Review Chairs.  They will have a wide business experience and be capable of understanding the broad scope of projects/contracts.  A basic awareness of the Phase Review Process would be beneficial, but not essential.
